Erin E. Friday, CPA, President/Head Coach
Ms. Friday started her accounting career with the Philadelphia office of Coopers and Lybrand after graduating cum laude from Villanova University as a Presidential Scholar with three undergraduate degrees - a BS in Accountancy, a BS in Mathematics, and a BA in General Arts Honors. Following her Big Four experience, Ms. Friday spent two years working for the actuarial firm of Milliman & Robertson while completing her MBA at Villanova University. After becoming a licensed CPA in Pennsylvania, Ms. Friday spent ten years as a controller for a Wayne-based financial planning firm, Kistler-Tiffany Companies. She also spent two years as controller for subsidiaries of PNC Financial Group before returning to the small business marketplace as Business Development Manager for Carlton Services. She is a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor.
In addition to her membership in the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Ms. Friday is also active in many other organizations. She is a past president of the Home & School Association for Epiphany of Our Lord School, a past treasurer for the Kistler-Tiffany Foundation, a member of the Academy of Notre Dame de Namur National Almunae Council, a member of the Academy of Notre Dame de Namur President's Advisory Council, and a past Assistant Cubmaster for Cub Pack 117. She coaches basketball in her parish's instructional basketball and CYO leagues and is a certified USA track and field official. In 2007, Ms. Friday and her parents received the Steinbrenner Family Heritage Award at the Penn Relays for over 100 years of combined service to the Relays. Ms. Friday is a member of the Phi Beta Kappa and Beta Gamma Sigma honor societies. Ms. Friday resides with her husband and three children in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.

Deborah M. Volk, Vice-President of Operations/Assistant Coach
Ms. Volk became a Certified Public Accountant shortly after college and has over 11 years of accounting experience in public accounting and the banking industry. After graduating from the University of Delaware with a degree in accounting, Ms. Volk spent 3 years with Ernst & Young serving clients in the financial institution, gaming, insurance, manufacturing and retail industries. Ms. Volk worked for 8 years in various progressive financial positions with Mellon PSFS. After devoting several years to raising her family, she resumed her accounting career with Carlton Services in 2006. Ms. Volk joined Main Line Accounting in 2008.
Ms. Volk resides with her husband and two children in West Chester, PA.

Mary Beth G. McCarry
Ms. McCarry graduated from LaSalle University with a dual major in Accounting and Finance. She began her career as an auditor for Laventhol and Horwath in Philadelphia. She serviced clients in the retail, real estate, and manufacturing industries. She also worked on several investigative audits in the banking industry. After 3 ½ years Ms. McCarry left public accounting to work as an Accounting Manager for IKEA in their US headquarters located in Plymouth Meeting. At that time she became a Certified Public Accountant. She was eventually promoted to Assistant Controller. After more than 8 years she left IKEA to raise her growing family. While raising her family she was able to provide bookkeeping services for several small businesses. She also volunteered as a Cub Scout Leader and Treasurer for the Home and School Association of Epiphany of Our Lord School in Plymouth Meeting. Ms. McCarry joined Main Line Accounting in 2008.
Ms. McCarry resides in Blue Bell with her husband and four children.

Robert J. Aaron
Mr. Aaron graduated from Temple University with a dual major in Finance and Economics. In his senior year at Temple, he was the University’s recipient of the Financial Executives Institute’s Gold Medallion Award, which recognizes the outstanding academic achievement of students majoring in Finance and Accounting. After spending many years in the corporate accounting arena, he turned his focus to being of service to the non-profit sector. Mr. Aaron has over ten years of non-profit experience, most recently serving as Chief Financial Officer for an agency that provides residential services to individuals with developmental disabilities. In his free time, he serves as school board President of St. Peter & Paul’s Elementary School in Lehighton, is a member of the Finance Committee for St. Peter & Paul’s Catholic Church in Lehighton, and is a coach in the Lehighton Area Youth Soccer League. He joined Main Line Accounting in 2008.
Mr. Aaron resides in Carbon County with his wife and two daughters.

Linda J. Levitt
Ms. Levitt graduated from Penn State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics Education. She also holds a Masters Degree in Math Education from Temple University. After teaching Mathematics in the Cherry Hill School District, Linda then took a hiatus to raise her two children. She then pursued various course work in bookkeeping and eventually became a Certified QuickBooks Pro Advisor. Ms. Levitt has solid experience managing personal accounting and record keeping for private individuals and handling records and bookkeeping for small companies using QuickBooks. This includes working with accounts receivables and accounts payables, bill-paying and invoicing. She also has strong analytical and communication skills, is results oriented, and has significant problem solving abilities. Ms. Levitt joined Main Line Accounting in 2009.
Ms. Levitt resides in Bryn Mawr with her husband. Her two children are currently enjoying careers in New York City.

Judith A. Curran
Ms. Curran graduated from Mount Saint Mary’s University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. After working as an accountant for several years in banking and insurance, she took time off to raise her two children. Ms. Curran most recently worked at CIGNA for eleven years in the IT Finance Department providing budgeting and financial analysis to internal clients. Ms. Curran left CIGNA in December 2007 to pursue a career in public accounting. She passed the Certified Public Accounting exam in November 2008 and is working towards her experience requirement for licensing.
Ms. Curran resides in Springfield with her husband.

Linda K. Sherwood
Ms. Sherwood graduated from Abilene Christian College with a BSed degree in Business Education. She began her career as an administrative professional in the banking industry. While taking time off to raise her family, she was an active volunteer in her church and community and operated a small custom sewing business. Since returning to full-time work, Ms Sherwood has had careers in education and the retail industry. For the last six years she was employed as a bookkeeper and office manager at Carlton Services. She continues her volunteer work and is currently serving as Financial Secretary of Cedarbook Camp in Denver, PA. Ms. Sherwood joined Main Line Accounting in 2010.
Ms. Sherwood resides in Malvern with her husband. Her two daughters have careers in Boston and Fort Worth.

Alexandra M. Stoops
Ms. Stoops graduated magna cum laude from Villanova University with a B.S. in Accountancy. Following graduation, she worked in the audit group of Deloitte and Touche for two years. While working in public accounting, Ms. Stoops earned her CPA license. After her Big 4 experience, she then worked in ARAMARK's corporate headquarters for 14 years in various roles including audit, financial analysis, budgeting and accounting. During this time, she also obtained her MBA from Drexel University with a concentration in finance. Following her years at ARAMARK, Ms. Stoops took a brief break in her career to spend more time with her family. Ms. Stoops is also a Girl Scout leader, volunteer for her children's home and school association, and local Moms Club. Ms Stoops joined Main Line Accounting in 2010.
Ms. Stoops resides with her husband and three children in Glen Mills, PA.

Brittany L. Ford, Executive Assistant
Ms. Ford recently graduated from Penn State University in May of 2010 with a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition. She is currently working towards her Masters Degree in Nutrition Education at Immaculata University and hopes to complete a Diectetic Internship to become a Registered Dietician. Ms. Ford started with Main Line Accounting in 2011. She brings a great combination of organizational skills and people skills to the firm.
Ms. Ford resides in Havertown, PA.
